Nutrition education in public health context is intended to influence large segments of the general population where they live, work and play. Educators face many challenges as they seek to engage people with varying degrees of interest and motivation in activities designed to change their eating habits. Mass information and awareness programmes are needed to alert government and communities about the importance of health and nutrition. The data was collected with the help of the pre-evaluation questionnaire and post evaluation questionnaire. The pre-evaluation questionnaire was formulated in a way to determine the general information, anthropometry, clinical assessment, personal hygiene status, and knowledge, attitude, practice of the study subject’s food Habits and Health ,Eating Behaviour, food Preferences and Food choices, physical activity, sanitation and Hygiene. The post evaluation questionnaire  checked the knowledge of the study subjects after nutrition education was imparted.
